About PD Academy
The PD Academy is a comprehensive peritoneal dialysis (PD) training program for doctors and nurses. The PD Academy curriculum was developed by an expert faculty from the Southeast Asia Peritoneal Dialysis Network and endorsed by the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD).
Arranged as three separate courses, the PD Academy offers tailored modular content for all PD experience levels. The Foundation course covers the PD basics, with the Empower course progressing to teach high-quality PD outcomes. Finally, the Advocate course provides instruction on how to manage a complete PD unit effectively.
The PD Academy provides a platform to network and encourages collaboration with other international PD experts, in addition to the training curriculum.
The PD Academy is ISPD endorsed and supported by Baxter through an educational grant.
Curriculum Faculty
The PD Academy curriculum was developed by an expert faculty from the Southeast Asia Peritoneal Dialysis Network. This faculty comprises twelve doctors and three nurses from:
